1. Information We Collect

Account Information: Email address used for authentication via magic link login. We do not collect passwords.

Video Content: Videos you upload or link for processing. This includes the original video, generated clips, subtitles, and AI-generated metadata (titles, content analysis).

Social Media Tokens: When you connect TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube accounts, we store encrypted OAuth tokens that allow us to publish content on your behalf. We do not access your social media accounts for any purpose other than content publishing as authorized by you.

Usage Data: Processing minutes used, subscription plan, job history, and feature interactions for service improvement.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Video Processing: To detect viral moments, generate clips, create subtitles, and apply AI enhancements.
• Social Publishing: To upload clips to your connected social media accounts when authorized.
• Service Operation: To manage your subscription, track usage limits, and send transactional emails.
• AI Analysis: To analyze video content for topic detection, tone analysis, and viral potential scoring.

3. Third-Party Services

CreatorViral integrates with the following third-party services:

• TikTok for Developers: Login Kit and Content Posting API for account connection and video publishing.
• Meta/Instagram: Instagram Graph API for Reels publishing.
• Google/YouTube: YouTube Data API v3 for Shorts uploading.
• OpenAI Whisper: Speech-to-text transcription for subtitle generation.
• Anthropic Claude: AI content analysis and viral moment detection.
• Stripe: Payment processing for subscriptions.
• AWS S3: Secure cloud storage for video content.

4. Data Security

Social media OAuth tokens are encrypted using AES-256-GCM before storage. Video content is stored on AWS S3 with server-side encryption. All data transmission uses HTTPS/TLS encryption. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel.

5. Data Retention

Video content and clips are retained for the duration of your subscription. Upon account deletion, all associated content is permanently removed within 30 days. Social media tokens are deleted immediately upon account disconnection.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data and download your content
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Disconnect social media accounts at any time
• Export your clips and subtitles
• Opt out of AI processing features

7. Cookies

CreatorViral uses essential cookies for authentication (JWT session token) and locale preferences. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies.

8. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in data centers located in the United States (AWS us-east-1 region). By using our service, you consent to this transfer.

9. Children's Privacy

CreatorViral is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy as our practices evolve. Material changes will be communicated via email to your registered address.
